We always love pink vintage Chanel! This is a 1979 or 1980 Chanel 2 piece skirt suit in a gorgeous pale pink raw silk. Chanel Creations was the first Chanel ready to wear line that was introduced by the French fashion designer Philippe Guibourge in 1977, 6 years after Coco Chanel died. Guibourge's designs were very true to the aesthetic of Mademoiselle Chanel and though he kept the overall look of Chanel, he added updated elements. Guibourge designed for the label until 1982, so the label was around for a only a relatively short period of time but very important to Chanel fashion history.
